Africa Code Week

Africa Code Week (ACW) is the largest digital literacy initiative on the African continent, aimed at empowering young Africans with coding skills and digital literacy. Since its inception in 2015, ACW has reached millions of children and youth across Africa.

During Africa Code Week, Mindset will be hosting a series of events across Uganda, including:

• Coding workshops for beginners
• Advanced programming sessions for experienced coders
• Hackathons and coding competitions
• Exhibition of student projects
• Panel discussions on the future of technology in Africa

The event is open to students of all ages, from primary school to university level. No prior coding experience is required for the beginner workshops.

Africa Code Week is supported by SAP, UNESCO, and various local partners committed to advancing digital literacy across the continent.
