World Robot Olympiad

The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is an international robotics competition that brings together young people from around the world to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through challenging and educational robotics competitions.

The Uganda National WRO competition will be held at Kampala International School, where teams from across the country will compete in various categories:

• Regular Category: Teams build robots to solve specific challenges
• Open Category: Teams create innovative robotics solutions to real-world problems
• Football Category: Teams build and program robots to play robot football
• Future Innovators: Teams develop robotics solutions related to the annual theme

Winners of the national competition will represent Uganda at the international WRO finals later in the year.

The event is open to students aged 8-19, divided into different age groups. Teams must register in advance to participate.
