Competition Overview
The National Coding Competition is Uganda's premier coding challenge for students aged 10-18. Participants will demonstrate their coding skills by solving real-world problems and creating innovative solutions.
The competition consists of multiple rounds, including preliminary challenges, regional finals, and a national championship. Winners will receive prizes, recognition, and the opportunity to represent Uganda in international competitions.

Competition Schedule
The competition is structured in multiple phases to identify the best young coders in Uganda.
Open registration for all eligible students across Uganda.
Online coding challenges to be completed remotely. Top performers advance to regional finals.
In-person competitions held in four regions: Central, Eastern, Western, and Northern Uganda.
Final round held in Kampala with the top performers from each region competing for the national title.
Recognition of winners and presentation of prizes and certificates.
Competition Categories
The competition is divided into different categories based on age and coding experience.
Introductory coding challenges using block-based programming languages like Scratch.
More advanced challenges using Python or JavaScript to solve algorithmic problems.
Complex coding challenges and application development using various programming languages.
Register for the Competition
Registration is open to all students aged 10-18 across Uganda. Individual and team registrations are accepted.
