Learning that reaches beyond Uganda
Mindset Coders connects learners to a wider global STEAM ecosystem, through competitions, peer learning and the chance to show their work to the world.
Ways to take part
WRO is one doorway, and there are more
International competitions
STEAM and robotics competitions where learners test what they have built against peers from other countries.
World Robot Olympiad
Uganda's top teams represent the country at the WRO finals. We have been Uganda's official WRO affiliate since 2020 and run the national qualifiers.

Learners collaborate with students in other countries.

How competing works
Regional and national rounds
School teams build and program robots to solve a themed annual challenge.
Challenges through the year
Shorter, themed hackathon-style challenges give learners a lower-stakes way to build competition experience.
Getting ready
We help schools and learners form a team, prepare and register for the next qualifying round.
Registration details for the next cycle will be shared here when it opens.
